Domain detail view
The domain page shows everything we know about a single domain.
Opening a domain
Click the name of a domain anywhere in the app, for example on the dashboard, in your domains list, or on the monitoring page.
Registration details
This shows the registrar, the expiry date, whether auto-renew is on or off, and the date the domain was added. If other domains share the same registration, they are listed too.
Known issues
If something needs attention, it is listed here. Each issue has its own page that explains why it matters and how to fix it. See Resolving issues.
Check results
Depending on what the domain is used for, the page also shows the results of the checks we run:
- Website availability: whether the website is up.
- SSL certificate (called Secure connection (SSL) in simple view): the status, the expiry date and, in detailed view, the issuer.
- Security headers: whether recommended security headers are present.
- DMARC: whether the domain has a DMARC record.
- Blacklist: whether the domain is listed on any DNS blacklist.
A check that hasn't run yet says so. Detailed view shows more technical detail than simple view.
Checking again
There is no "check now" button. Checks run automatically, see How monitoring works.
Changing or removing the domain
Use edit on the domain page to change its details or to remove it.
